"Free" Shipping
I honestly wish I could offer "free shipping". However, even given how ubiquitous the term is, the truth is that shipping is never free. Some of the costs include (but not limited to) the label, box, packing materials, shipping fees, and labor involved to pack and verify an order.
Granted, one way companies offer "free" shipping is to raise product costs to include (absorb) shipping. However, that presents its own challenges due to varying order sizes. Another is to set a minimum order threshold. However, that still does not solve the problem for the smaller orders.
That is why, while I can understand and appreciate the desire for "free shipping", it is needed to cover costs associated with each order.
Shipping Partner
Most, if not all, orders are shipped via USPS with a tracking number. The exception is exceptionally large or international orders. These are often shipped via UPS or FedEx. All orders include a tracking number though.
Given that we do utilize USPS, this means that any order placed on Saturday will most likely ship on Monday (unless it's a Federal holiday) as the post office is closed on Sundays.
Time to Receive
We strive to ship all orders next day with a 2-5 day shipping window. In the extremely rare case we cannot ship next day*, it will either ship within 72-hours or we will contact you within that timeframe with further details.
If you have not received your order within 7 days, we recommend checking the tracking number to see if USPS experienced any delays. You may also reach out to us with either your order number or email associated with the order for further assistance.
* orders placed on Saturday ship on Monday due to the post office being closed on Sundays.
Defective Product
While we review every product that comes off our printers for defects, some can regretfully be missed.
Should you find a defect, please reach out to us within 14-days via either email (ShayKayStudio@gmail.com) or text (262-361-3694). For the quickest service, please send a picture of the defect.
Once confirmed, we will either:
- Issue a refund to the original form of payment for the product.
- Issue store credit in the form of points to use on something else.
In either case, we cannot refund shipping.
Incomplete Order/Missing Item
While I wish I could say this will never happen, any time there is a human element, there is unfortunately room for error.
To help limit the chance for error though, a pick-list is printed and shipped with every order for our and your verification.
If something is missing though, please reach out via either email (ShayKayStudio@gmail.com) or text (262-361-3694) with your order number and what is missing.
Once confirmed, we reserve the right to either:
- Ship the missing item(s).
- Issue a refund, in the amount of the missing item(s), to the original form of payment.
