It builds on the Random Acts of Kindness movement with the goal being for the giver and recipient to share moments of joy. Where it differs is that it's primarily between Subaru owners and the random act is a cow-themed gift.

While they both include "mooing", their origins and target Facebook audience differ slightly:

Moo Moo Subaru

• Inspired by Duck Duck Jeep.
• Focuses on everything from vehicles (Subarus) to mooing.
• Facebook group is set-up for both members (free) and vendors (enrolled in the group’s subscription program).

MOObaru Movement

• Inspired by the Random Acts of Kindness movement.
• Heavier focus on mooing; both Subaru and general acts of kindness.
• Facebook group is set-up for members and is an ad-free space.

1. Because "MOObaru" is a mashup between "Moo" (the sound cows make) and "Subaru".
2. There are rumors the Subaru logo has roots in the Taurus constellation (also a type of cow!)

Mooing is when someone leaves a cow-themed item on the windshield or tucked in the door handle of a fellow Subaru owner's vehicle.​

Keeping in mind, the recipient may not have heard of it, so it's best to have some kind of card or note explaining why they're receiving a cow!

That is entirely up to you! It can be something you make or buy and ranges from stickers, keychains, to figurines.
